July 2007 Meeting

When: Thursday, July 5, 2007—7pm-9pm

Summer Break & Informal Social Discussion

Since our July meeting occurs on the 5th, we feel that many will be taking vacation time off for the 4th of July. Thus, we’ll take a break from our regular monthly meeting in July for a purely social outing at the Starbucks in Colony Square

Our meeting takes place at the Starbucks at Colony Square in Midtown Atlanta (at the corner of Peachtree and 14th Streets).

Randall let me know that a group has started meeting for informal discussions over coffee in the Roswell/Alpharetta area. If you’re starting up a “PHP discussion group” in your area, feel free to pass along the details so that we can promote it here. Details follow:

June 2007 Meeting

When: Thursday, June 7, 2007—7pm-9pm
Where: Consulate General of Canada

Mini-Series: PHP IDEs

We’ll continue our mini-series on IDEs for PHP this month as Robert Swarthout showcases the features of the Zend Studio IDE.

Open Discussion & Lightning Talks

This month, we’ll take a break from more formal presentations to open up the floor for anyone who has PHP-related questions or would like to share about a PHP-related technology. The discussion will be free-form and may lead to break-out discussion groups if there is enough interest in several different topics.

We’ll also allow our open discussion to spark a few lightning talks. Either be prepared with a 3-5 minute presentation, or simply stand up and talk for a few minutes about anything you wish related to PHP or related technologies.

Location

Our meeting takes place at the Consulate General of Canada at 100 Colony Square in Midtown Atlanta (at the corner of Peachtree and 14th Streets). Click here for directions. You will need to see the concierge in order to gain access to the 17th floor.
