Charting a Course Through PHP PDF Libraries
Presentation by Jacob Terry
How do you get great-looking PDFs with charts that print crisply and look the same as the charts you’re displaying in the browser? Follow the journey of one developer through the wilds of PDF and charting libraries to eventually arrive at a solution that allows visually appealing charts that are consistent between the browser and printed PDF. Along the way, we’ll learn about the pros and cons of several PHP PDF libraries, touch on several different chart solutions, and even learn a little about SVG. The presentation will include code samples and some examples of dynamic, PHP-generated PDFs with charts.
Whether you’re looking to create simple PDFs or mammoth, chart-intensive PDFs, you’ll find something of value.
