PRESENTATION: Deploying PHP Applications with Fabric
Presentation by Jason Bouffard (@jpb0104)

We’ll be taking a real world look at how 3SI Security Systems uses Fabric to deploy their web applications. Fabric (http://www.fabfile.org/) is a Python library and command-line tool for streamlining the use of SSH for application deployment or systems administration tasks. We’ll be covering typical and not so typical deployment tasks and best practices, as well as how to utilize Fabric in your own projects.

About Jason: Jason Bouffard is the technical manager for the web services team at 3SI Security Systems. At 3SI Security, he builds a platform for tracking devices that protect and recover high-value assets. Jason lives in Midtown with his wife, Kimberly, and his dog, Dexter.

Mini-talk: Matt Trask (@matthewtrask) on “Being a LampCamper”.
